 QUADRIVALENT FLU VACCINE

  • Dr Counsell & Partners have purchased the Quadrivalent Influenza (Flu) Vaccine especially for our patients who are 65 years & over and for patients in the at risk groups.

We have obtained the Quadrivalent Flu Vaccine as it protects against four strains of the flu virus, to ensure our patients receive the best vaccine available.

Some other providers offer the Trivalent Vaccine, which only protects against 3 strains of the flu virus.

If you are eligible and wish to receive the Quadrivalent Flu Vaccine please contact reception who will be happy to book you an appointment.

Home Visits

Doctor's bagIf possible please try to telephone reception between 08:00 - 10:00 if you require a home visit. Please note we cannot guarantee you will be visited by your preferred doctor.

You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed.

You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
